Join us at Junior Guides Raft Camp. Junior Guides, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, has been reliably and safely showing kids a good time on rivers for years. We have the best kid-friendly staff, we attract outdoorsy campers, and our program embraces a 'river family' culture.
Programs typically run from 8:30 am to 4 pm each day, but varies depending on the camper's age.
Each year we have a different emphasis, but campers always learn river navigation, reading water, rope handling and knots, swimming in moving water, self rescue, skits and games; all couched around our core values: adventure, teamwork, and leadership.
Our 3-day river rafting program includes highly qualified guides, kid sized rafts and gear, shuttles, two substantial snacks, a lunch buffet, evening activities, a CD or link to photos of camp and a T-Shirt.
2019 camp dates: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
July 15-17* (FULL but WAITLISTED) or July 22-24*
Camp costs $425 for the first child, $375 for consecutive children. Camp fees includes 3 days of rafting, seasoned professional Guides, wholesome lunches and several snacks, photo CD, pre and post rafting activities like skit night and closing ceremony

Water is pouring out of the sky, and we at JG headquarters hope mightily that there will be water releases every day of the week, and perhaps even high water in June. Accordingly, Raft Camp sessions are planned for late July, and campers will have the best experience on perfect lower river flows.
Camp begins at Earthtrek Campground, in Coloma, at 9 am on Monday, July 15th or 22nd
All campers and families should attend the special closing ceremony at Earthtrek Camp
Wednesday July 17 or July 24th, 7 pm for Closing slide show and Appreciation Circle
Info available soon on separate EarthtrekCampground add-ons including camping and meal plan
(*Please note: These dates are favored and expected. However, as has happened in previous l0w-water years, we are occasionally unable to raft on Wednesdays, and may shift the camp forward by a day; Sunday-Tuesday. The snow pack is looking great this year, and it's very likely we will retain the Monday-Wednesday program.)
