Traditional Camp Popular with campers and parents, our traditional 3-day camps for ages 6–16 are back, on the South Fork American. Camps will likely run Sunday–Tuesday to avoid low-water Wednesdays—unless we get a deep snowpack.

Kayaker Camp (KC) NEW In Kayaker Camp, aspiring kayakers learn basic maneuvering and navigation skills alongside our rafting sessions. Instruction and river locations along the South Fork are tailored to the groups' ability, whcih will likely be the class 2 sections of the SouthForkAmerican. Led By Logan Smith, Worls Reknown Worls Class kayaker and JG Graduate
kayak Camp is for all genders, aged 10 and up.

North Umpqua River NEW Junior Guides expands to Oregon’s stunning rainforest canyon country. Our 3-day programs for Ducks and Otters will feature the same beloved mix of fun, adventure, and family camping—now in a whole new setting.

EarthTrek Campground  We’re back! Families love the swimming options and spacious, comfortable cabins. New for 2026: Saturday night arrivals are now available.

Advanced Teens: Camp Counselors and AB  Our Camp Counselors Program returns for ages 15–20, and we are adding a new Assistant Boatman (AB) internship (ages 17-20), that focuses on boat craft, alongside the Otters.

Parent Participation Camp (PPC) NEW You asked for a more budget-friendly option—so we’re piloting Parent Participation Camp! Kids raft daily with our commercial rafting partner 'WET', while meals, activities, and camp chores are parent-hosted. JG has rented an entire riverfront campground adjacent to the rapid Current Divider for this 4-night/ 3-day session.

WET Rafting Partnership  We’re excited to announce our new rafting partner: WET. WET embraces the rock-jumping and rapid-swimming, kinesthetic learning experiences kids love. Owner Chad Richards brings 35 years of experience and over 40,000 river miles, is a certified Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselor and Swiftwater Instructor. Many of our Senior Guides--Maddie Smith, Cassie Rubin- already work for WET and attest to its safe, fun approach.

Scholarships We’ve received over $4,000 in additional scholarship funding, allowing us to offer more partial and full scholarships for Ducks, Otters, and Ospreys.

We have upgraded our registration forms for faster completion; some data repopulates, and you can leave form fields blank in order to get to the payment portion quicker. After securing the spots with payment, you can return to the form to completely fill in your child's health data, birth date, etc.  Registration links will be date-specific, sent out ahead of time, so carefully choose. If you accidentally select the wrong date, I can't guarantee you will get your preferred date, as it may have filled by the time we are able to remedy it.

You can register on a phone, tablet or computer this year.

Full payment is required at the time of registration; reach out to inquire about payment plans. Payment is accepted via paypal or credit card.

Thanks to generous donors, 15 scholarships will be awarded in 2026. Full and partial scholarships will be awarded for Osprey, Duck and Otter programs, and are basd on application sincerity and financial need.  Tuition monies often qualify as daycare expenses, check with your tax consultant. Scholarship applications will open in January 2026.
